Student Grading

In each Martial Art Programme you will embark on a progressive coloured belt/sash system, every few months you will be assessed in whats called a grading.

Don't worry! Grading is not intended to put you on the spot but give you an opportunity to show how well you are improving.

The PKA kickboxing grading is slightly different from the traditional Lau Gar Kung Fu grading as you will not have to learn any non-English words, the Lau Gar training will require you to have a small grasp of Cantonese vocabulary but again don't worry the language is introduced from the off and you will have plenty of time to learn such a small amount!

In each grading you will be moving around a lot, and the grading is usually done in groups.

After successfully passing a grading you will receive a certificate and your new coloured belt/sash.
